Mark was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, graduating from St. Thomas College with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1979.

He began working at a local high school, retiring in 1998 as Director of Student Activities. Mark was extremely active both locally and nationally with the National Association of Student Activities and the National Association of Student Councils. After he retired from education, he wanted to further my career by using my business degree and entering the business world.

Mark was hired by Twin City Bagel/National Choice Bakery in March of 1999 and has worked in Sales & Marketing, as Production Scheduler, and the last 7 years in Quality Assurance. Mark has continued his education within the food industry and has attended workshops and seminars from AIB and FDA, as well as attending the Food Safety Summit.\
